Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of deep relaxation. During this relaxed state the mind becomes more open to suggestion.

Our subconscious mind is a powerful entity that can process millions of bits of information every second. The subconscious is responsible for keeping our hearts beating, regulating our breathing, operating our lymph systems and making our eyes blink, all with immense precision.

It is also our subconscious minds that store all the information that forms our character. The intention of the subconscious is to protect us, however, occasionally the act of protecting us can in itself serve to limit our potential. This often occurs when we make a premature evaluation of an event which we believe is helping us but in reality is actually hindering.

Hypnotherapy is a highly effective in assisting positive changes to a long-standing limiting self beliefs, feelings and behaviours. Although we are often consciously aware of their problems they are often unable to change their attitudes because the behaviour is so ingrained in the subconscious. By inducing a trance state it is possible to access the subconscious directly as it is more open to suggestion in this relaxed state. By using certain speech patterns and suggestions, I am able to reframe any limiting behaviours or beliefs, you as a client may have. You will always aware of what is happening and will always in control.

These are some of the things hypnotherapy works well with. If you have any other ailment, and are not sure if hypnosis can help, please give me a call to discuss.

Stop Smoking - (2 hour one off session)

Hypnotherapy can help many smokers achieve their goal of stopping smoking, and the results produced can be quite astounding.

Deciding to become a smoker in the first instance is not a decision that most people take logically. It is an emotional decision taken at a subconscious level. Therefore, any decision to stop needs to be taken at that same level. Quite simply, this is why hypnosis is such a successful way to give up smoking cigarettes. The goal of hypnotherapy is to assist you in using your imagination to create a non-smoking future. This often feels very positive and empowering. Stopping smoking becomes the positive and definite choice.
